Staying at Bright Star
What amenities are included in the stay?
We offer a range of amenities, including access to a fully equipped communal kitchen, a covered dining pavilion with a propane grill, firepits, filtered drinking water, showers, ice machine, and Wi-Fi. We also have a playground, art station, games & books, billiards room, movie nights with outdoor projector screen, ping pong and foosball tables. Don't forget the 360° views! For tent and RV sites, picnic tables are provided. We have sleeping bags and linens available for rental.
Are campfires allowed? Do you provide firewood or firepits?
Campfires are welcome—just make sure to use the designated pits and rings. There are sometimes fire bans during the summer season, we will post signs on the campground when in effect. Please keep fires away from brush and always use common sense when lighting, enjoying, and putting them out.
Firewood is available for purchase under the stairs of the observation deck on the north end of the campground. All campsites have a firepit for your personal use!
What are quiet hours?
11:00PM - 8:00 AM.
Do you have laundry facilities on site?
We generally do not offer laundry as our machines are required for business needs, however we can accommodate limited use if needed for a fee of $10.00 per load. Inquire by contacting Camp Host!
Do I need to bring my own linens or towels?
Linens and towels are included in the stay in certain sites, as listed in descriptions. Linen/sleeping bags/pillows/towels are available to rent for other sites and/or additional guests. Please review the list of included services for the campsite you'd like to reserve.
Can I smoke on the property?
You're welcome to smoke or vape (nicotine or cannabis) outside of campground buildings. Please do not smoke in shared spaces such as around the restrooms or dining pavilion. Do not smoke inside Tipis or Cabins.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes! You may store cold food in the Camper's Fridge and Freezer. Please label all containers with your name. If leaving or donating food, please note and date items to prevent waste.
RV Sites
What types of hookups are available?
We have 3 different RV sites, each site offers different hookups. Please review the list of included services for the site you'd like to reserve. The Star Pad is our only Full Hookup site. Ute 1 Site has 30A electric and water, & Sunrise Site has 30A electric only.
What is the maximum RV length you can accommodate?
The Star Pad fits large RVs (class A and 5th wheels). All other sites can fit RVs no larger than 30ft long.
Is there a dump station on site?
We don't offer a dump station at this time, but there is a free dump station available at Maverik, 10 minutes from the campground.
Are generators allowed?
We do not allow generators.
Pets
Are pets allowed in the Cabins / Tipis / House?
Are there leash requirements or pet-friendly areas on the campground?
Are there any breed restrictions?
We welcome well-behaved pets at Bright Star Campground. A one-time $20 pet fee per pet applies for guests staying in Cabins, Tipis, or The Hogan, and a $10 fee for RV and Tent sites.
All pets must be kept on a leash or in an appropriate container and may not be left unattended, especially inside campground structures due to the heat. Please clean up after your pet!
Here at Bright Star we do not discriminate! All well behaved pups are welcome and add to our playful environment.
Reservations & Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
We can offer a full refund for reservations cancelled within 7 days prior to the reservation. This policy is to allow adequate time for rebooking.
Do you offer group rates or long-term stays?
If you'd like to reserve the entire campground, host an event or large group, please contact us for group rates, also visit our Retreats and events page. We cannot host guests for longer than 14 consecutive days.
Can I modify my reservation after booking?
You can easily adjust the number of guests, add a pet, rent full linens for $15 and/or camper sets (including a sleeping bag, pillow, and towel) for $10 per person, and modify your reservation date or campsite through our booking page. (subject to availability.)
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 3:00PM - 10:00 PM. Check-out is before or by 12:00PM. If you need to arrange for an arrival, or departure outside of these times, please text or call us prior to making a reservation to ensure we can accommodate 970-564-0420.
